The red City ( Marrakech )

Marrakech, known as the “ochre city”, with a population of more than 1,000,000 inhabitants, is the most important ancient imperial city in the history of Morocco. The city of Marrakech is the capital of the south-western region of the semi-economic Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz, near the foothills of the snowy Atlas Mountains, which is also the third-largest city in Morocco after the 2004 census.
Like many cities in Morocco, the city of Marrakech includes both a fortified old city (the medina) and modern neighborhoods, the most important is that of Gueliz, for a total population of 794,620 and 1,063,415 in the metropolitan area (census of 2004). It is served by the Menara International Airport and a rail connection to Casablanca and the north.
Marrakech has the largest traditional Berber market (souk) in Morocco and also has one of the busiest squares in Africa and in the world, the Djemaa el Fna square. The square turns with acrobats, storytellers, water vendors, dancers, and musicians. By night food stalls open on the square turning it into a huge busy outdoor restaurant.

Hollywood of Africa ( Ouarzazate )

The city of Ouarzazate, in southeastern Morocco, became known as Hollywood of Africa after it was aired on the background of several world movies. due to its natural advantages from the desert, mountains, and even snow, the city attracted many tourists and directors, and against the backdrop of the popular “Lawrence Arabia Film” filmed in this city, many studios were built to meet the demand of the film market by filming many films within it.
Ouarzazate is located at the cross roads of the roads leading to the Valley of Darra oasis, including to Western Sahara on the one hand, and The Ziz Valley oasis and from there to the Eastern Sahara on the other. It has a population of 56000, the majority of whom are Amazigh. The city of Ouarzazate is shortened both by the Sahara language and by the history of the Moroccan south. The “Jalawi” family, built-in Qabah, managed to tighten its grip on the surrounding areas and to monitor the trade routes of the Darreh area to the city.

Merzouga Desert

Merzouga is a small desert dusty village in eastern Morocco. Although the town itself has little to offer to a daring traveler (along with a handful of hotels and restaurants), it is known as the gateway to the large Sheppey Dunes. Here, high peak peaks of color change with the changing light of dawn and dusk. Camel trains create romantic shadow images, and Berber villages work as distant oases in an environment that has been unchanged for thousands of years.

Tourism in Merzouga desert

The number of foreign and Moroccan tourists arriving in the city is between 100 thousand and 120 thousand per year, while the ratio of overnight nights is about 80 thousand, according to unofficial statistics returning to 2018. In general, the city is characterized by its sandy dunes on the shape of hills between short and large, making it included in the list of areas that tourists coming to Morocco would prefer to visit. and the most important tour to visit Merzouga is 4 Days Marrakech desert tours.
